The urban street is the main outdoor scene that people experience, covering almost all areas of the city. In recent years, with the growing popularity and prevalence of 'Citywalk' in China, more and more people are choosing to explore a city on foot or to reacquaint themselves with the city they live in, resulting in a growing awareness and appreciation of the negative experiences brought about by the original urban streetscape. The need to improve these spaces to enhance the visual experience is increasing. For the detection of emotional experiences, brain waves can be used as a medium to accurately determine a person's real-time emotional experience by recording quantitative brain wave information. By combining brainwave observation, we can control the good elements of the urban streetscape, accurately determine the location of the negative experiences, and iteratively optimise the landscape transformation through brainwave observation to solve the problem of negative streetscape experiences. This research will use the Lujiazui CBD area as a site for brain-computer interaction-based urban streetscape improvement.
